TAKE TIME TO REMEMBER
Today is the last day of the 2009 Legislative Session and many important issues, including the state deficit, water reform, and major energy policy are scheduled to be dealt with sometime before midnight so your BOMA California team is on duty to protect your interests. Whatever does or doesn’t happen - in the coming weeks we will provide full summaries of all the action.
However, today happens to be the anniversary of one of the deadliest days in American history. Out of respect we set aside reporting on all the happenings under the Dome this week to simply ask that you remember, with vigor, the day our country was attacked and most of us woke up to watch buildings full of people burning and falling in on themselves.
To forget the horror and outrage we all felt at that time, due to the gloss of history and refractions from politics, would be a disservice to all who died that day and in the unfortunate chain of events it induced.
And please also take the time to reflect on the men and women serving our country around the world paying the price for our freedom and security – thank you all!
